Good question, Amy.u00a0 Actually, it's generally better if it doesn't match (and matching reds, as you've probably noticed, is pretty challenging).u00a0 If you're wearing a print that has a touch of red in it then the handbag can be fun.u00a0 Otherwise, pairing it with beautiful neutrals (you look great in deep browns) would be totally beautiful!u00a0 Post some pictures on the forum and we'll help!

Hi Ginger -- Does the purse need to match my outfit?u00a0 I have a great red purse but find I hardly ever use it!u00a0 When I'm wearing an outfit with red I feel it looks too "matchy" and when I'm not wearing red I feel it looks "out of place"!

I know what you mean.u00a0 When Liz Claiborne stopped making the Elisabeth line a lot of the petite plus size clothing disappeared.u00a0 While you won't find much that's specifically petite plus size, I have a number of clients who fit that bill and we have done well at Lord & Taylor.u00a0 Tahari often makes things that seem to fit and occasionally Anne Klein or some of the other designers -- even Kate Hill (L&T's brand).u00a0 If you have an L&T store near you I would highly recommend trying it out.u00a0 Of course, you also have to have a really good tailor because, like most women, nearly everything will need some kind of tweaking.u00a0 I don't know why the designers aren't paying attention.u00a0 Someone could make a lot of money if they just focused on this specific alone!u00a0 Keep me posted.

I've gained quite a bit of weight as I've turned 50, mostly from a previously undiagnosed thyroid problem. I'm 5'3" with thick thighs and large butt and belly. I typically wear size 18 bottom and 1x tops. However, it seems designers make plus size clothes for woman who are taller. It is impossible to find petite/plus sizes at reasonable cost. I don't want to spend a fortune since I'm expecting to lose some of the weight now that the thyroid issue has been diagnosed and being treated. Any suggestions.
