Feeling authentic in what you wear is what we all strive for when getting dressed. The trick is figuring out what ‘authentic’ means for you and it’s absolutely different for everyone.
I met Lin a little over a year ago and we embarked on a fabulous journey to explore her inner beauty style—the styles that help her feel truly authentic in what she wears.
What has happened is truly beautiful!

One of her inner beauty words is ‘Sonic explorer.’ You might wonder about the word sonic. Music and sound is very important to her and if you look up the definition of sonic it talks about multiple layers and textures – how perfect for her in expressing that in her style.
Using her inner beauty words, she gets to choose which part of her heart and soul she expresses. In addition to sonic explorer, her inner beauty words include: Sensitive seeker, Poetic artist and Bodacious and playful. She can highlight any or all of them in an outfit. As you’ll read in the article, she says, ‘I view dressing as creating.’ Perfect! That can be true for anyone no matter what your personal style or what clothing choices you prefer.
She was also kind enough to mention me saying that because of our work together, “I have more confidence to express what’s inside and manifest that visually.” This touches my heart because that’s exactly my goal in working with each and every woman.
