Confused about how to dress for your body shape?
That’s because there is no one-size-fits-all (quite literally!) solution. We’ve been told there are a few basic body shapes, and even been advised we need dress to “adjust” our body shape.
To test this concept, I surveyed hundreds of women to see if they thought that knowing their body shape would help them make better wardrobe choices and…
97% said YES!
But, 50% of the women who responded said they weren’t sure what their body shape was.
When you feel confused about your body shape or you’re told you have to choose clothing to ‘fix’ a part of your body, it’s easy to feel bewildered, discouraged or even shamed.
The problem is that dressing your “body shape” often implies there’s something wrong with your body the way it is and you need to fix it!
First of all…many women don’t fit into traditional body shapes or even if they do, they don’t feel confident about their choice. You’ve heard of triangles and rectangular body shapes, but what about spoons, bells, and figure 8’s? It’s enough to make your head swim!
Then the question remains…
Once you know your body shape -
what do you want to do with that information?
In many cases, we’ve been taught that there is an ‘ideal’ body shape and that we should dress to appear closer to that ‘ideal.’ But ideal body shape according to whom? (I’ll address that in the program.)
The good news is that you are in control of how you want to look and what body parts you want to emphasize.
In this 90-minute self-paced video, I teach you techniques to use in your wardrobe to:
“Ginger has helped me find beautiful clothes that are uniquely me, that make me feel so good — all provided with wonderful, caring, encouraging advice and counsel. She has an amazing ability to bring out not only the beauty in her clients, but each person’s uniqueness as well. As a result, I look forward every day to wearing clothes I love.” – Sue Baust
Just curious…how do you feel about your body shape?
The truth is, dressing your body shape
is only one part of your personal style.
Dressing to feel good in your body works hand-in-hand with who you are on the inside. I refer to it as reflecting your ‘inner beauty’…expressing that part of you at your essence that makes you special. Although we won’t specifically be addressing this in this program, it’s important to know that when you choose clothing that feels like you in your heart and soul, it’s YOUR natural form of self-expression.
Together, dressing your body shape and reflecting your inner beauty, create your personal style and let you shine with confidence. (Please note: dressing to express your inner beauty, although not addressed in this video, is covered in other programs. So don’t worry if you don’t have that specific information right now. We can get to that later.)
Today, we are specifically addressing body shapes and in this 90-minute self-paced video, you’ll learn…
